About Fitz Fitness

Fitz Fitness was founded on a simple principle: training should be personal, purposeful, and proven to work. Since launching over five years ago, we’ve helped hundreds of clients across Charleston gain strength, improve mobility, and unlock their full potential through expert-led, results-driven programming.

We’ve never been about fads. We’re about building real, sustainable success—one session at a time. Now, with the opening of our new location on Johns Island, we’re taking things further. More space. More services. Same commitment to excellence.

MEET OUR FOUNDER, TJ

Jessie Schramm

Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach

Jessie is a personal trainer and nutrition coach who is passionate about helping people build strength, confidence, and sustainable habits. Her approach focuses on progressive training, proper nutrition, and lifestyle balance—because real results happen outside the gym just as much as inside it. She believes fitness should enhance your life, not restrict it. Whether your goal is fat loss, muscle gain, or simply feeling stronger and more energized, she is here to guide, educate, and support you every step of the way. Outside of personal training, you’ll find Jessie spending time outside, finding new hobbies, and traveling to new countries.

Ryan Summers

Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach

Ryan’s path to fitness started long before he ever stepped into a training role. At eleven years old, he survived a lightning strike that stopped his heart for twelve minutes. The recovery process required him to relearn basic skills such as walking and speaking — an experience that shaped his resilience, discipline, and mindset for life.

During that recovery, fitness became more than exercise. It became a way to rebuild strength, confidence, and control. That foundation still drives his approach today.

Ryan has completed 18 half marathons and 3 full marathons and is currently training for his first 50-mile race. His endurance background gives him a deep understanding of mental toughness, progressive training, and long-term performance development.

In every session, Ryan focuses on helping clients move better, build sustainable strength, and push past perceived limits — physically and mentally. His coaching style blends encouragement, accountability, and real-world perspective to help clients become stronger in every sense of the word.

Elaina Murdock

ISSA Certified Personal Trainer | Group Fitness & Pilates Instructor

Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach

Elaina is an ISSA-certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and Pilates specialist who focuses on creating efficient, results-driven workouts that fit into real life. Her approach is streamlined and intentional — every movement has purpose, and every session is designed to challenge clients in a way that feels productive, not overwhelming.

She blends strength training, core stability, and controlled movement to build lean muscle, improve posture, and increase overall confidence. Whether working one-on-one or in a small group setting, Elaina creates an environment that is motivating, supportive, and focused.

Her goal is simple: help clients feel stronger, move better, and build sustainable habits they can maintain long-term. Sessions are efficient, challenging in the right way, and designed to leave you feeling accomplished — not exhausted for the sake of it.

She earned her Personal Trainer certification through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) in 2024.

She prioritizes building strong relationships with her clients, taking the time to understand their history, goals, and motivations in order to deliver a truly personalized training experience.

Her coaching style is focused, supportive, and intentional—designed to help clients not only achieve results, but build sustainable habits that carry over into every aspect of their lifestyle. Taylor is committed to guiding each client through their journey with accountability, structure, and a high standard of care.
